Международная стоматологическая гильдия (МСГ) обращает внимание на скрытую угрозу весны — сезонную аллергию на берёзу, ольху и другие деревья, которая способна спровоцировать не только насморк, но и опасные для жизни осложнения в полости рта.

Когда пыльца — не просто раздражитель. 

Сезонная аллергия давно считается «бытовой неприятностью», с которой многие просто свыкаются. Однако стоматологи бьют тревогу: во время пика цветения у пациентов с аллергией резко возрастает риск инфекционных заболеваний полости рта — от банального гингивита до некротизирующего воспаления и даже сепсиса.

“Мы сталкивались с редкими, но крайне тяжёлыми случаями: аллергия вызывала у пациента сильную сухость во рту, затем — воспаление дёсен, и в итоге — быстрое распространение инфекции, интоксикация, госпитализация. В одном случае — летальный исход,” — говорит д-р Франческа Моро, эксперт МСГ по системным осложнениям в стоматологии.

Скрытая цепочка: от аллергии до больницы

Как это происходит:

Аллергия → заложенность носа → дыхание через рот

Открытый рот = сухость слизистой

Добавляем антигистаминные препараты = ещё меньше слюны

Слюна — естественный защитник. Без неё бактерии растут бесконтрольно.

Результат — воспаление, кровоточивость, язвы и, в тяжёлых случаях, опасные системные осложнения.

7. Избегайте самодиагностики. Если чувствуете дискомфорт в полости рта — обратитесь к стоматологу. Не всё, что кажется «аллергией», ею является.

8. Не откладывайте плановые осмотры. Весной особенно важно не пропускать приёмы.
